The Place
TSA-Kwa-Luten Lodge on British Columbia’s Quadra Island tucked between Vancouver Island and the mainland is secluded on 1,100 acres of pristine land surrounded by mountain peaks, tidal waters, and lush forests. Its calm and tranquil setting is steeped in aboriginal history and features authentic Pacific Coast architecture. The Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge is managed by the We Wai Kai band. Tsa-Kwa-Luten means gathering place and is their name for the area known as Cape Mudge
The Sleep
Staying at the lodge is a cultural experience with every facet of culture and historical importance, the main lobby is built in the style of a contemporary design of a Kwagiulth “Big House” and features local First Nations art. A private deck or balcony with ocean and mountain views is featured in all rooms at Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge. Offering plush furnishings and large windows, all rooms include tea and coffee facilities.
The Snap
While staying at the lodge enjoy the nearby trails and the Cape Mudge Lighthouse or visit the Nyumbaleese Cultural Centre which features an extensive collection of potlatch regalia. Staying at Tsa-Kwa-Luten is truly an unforgettable experience. One morning we just sit on the balcony and watch the whales passing by and listen to the sound of the whales.
The Taste
In the morning breakfast will be served in the oceanfront restaurant where you can enjoy the beautiful views over the ocean with breakfast and coffee. In the evening and afternoon, the restaurant is open for lunch and dining, providing guests with a varied selection of gourmet west coast cuisine. All dining areas offer spectacular mountain and ocean views.
The Vibes
Most people will just relax and enjoy the peaceful ocean and beach but if you like to be more active, the island provides numerous activities like kayak tours, whale watching, hiking trails, cycling, sport fishing, diving, and grizzly tours in the fall, and much more. The local community is rich in arts and culture. Local artisans display their crafts in various galleries Rebecca Spit Provincial Marine Park is just 10 kilometers from the hotel, a great place for a picnic or you can rent a kayak, Nuyumbalees Museum & Cultural Centre is 5 kilometers away.

Het verblijf Het verblijf in de lodge is een culturele ervaring met alle facetculturen en historisch belang. De Snap Geniet tijdens uw verblijf in de lodge van de nabijgelegen wandel paden en de vuurtoren van Cape Mudge of bezoek het cultureel centrum Nyumbaleese. Een verblijf in Tsa-Kwa-Luten is een onvergetelijke culturele ervaring. Een ochtend konden we geniten van de orcas recht voor onze kamer.
De smaak Smorgens wordt het ontbijt geserveerd in het restaurant met uitzicht over zee, waar u kunt genieten met ontbijt en koffie. 'S Avonds en smiddags is het restaurant geopend voor lunch en diner en biedt het een gevarieerde selectie van gastronomische gerechten. Alle eetzalen bieden een spectaculair uitzicht op de zee.
De omgeving De meeste mensen komen hier voor de rust,cultuur en natuur en genieten van de vredige oceaan, maar als u actiever wilt zijn, biedt het eiland tal van activiteiten, kajaktochten, walvissen spotten, wandelpaden, fietsen, sportvissen, duiken, grizzlytochten in de herfst en nog veel meer. De lokale gemeenschap is rijk aan kunst en cultuur. Lokale ambachtslieden tonen hun ambachten in verschillende galerijen Rebecca Spit Provincial Marine Park ligt op 10 kilometer van het hotel, een geweldige plek voor een picknick of u kunt een kajak huren Nuyumbalees Museum & Cultureel Centrum ligt op 5 kilometer afstand.
